Over the month so far you may have noticed the children learning about their health and wellbeing. This is our focus for learning across the service. The children are learning about their bodies, how they work, how to keep them safe by what we eat, getting exercise and looking after our hygiene.

At Hatchlings Early Learning Centre we believe that each child is a precious gift from God with unique and special qualities.

This month we are working through our 2025 Enrolments and will be communicating confirmation of bookings to families

We have already had such a busy start to August. We celebrated the Olympics at the start of the month with many fun activities happening across the service

This month our Hatchlings mascots will go on trips to the children's homes and throughout the Community as we learn more about who is in our Community and also as we connect with our families and learn about Culture.

To kick off the month the team created an Art Studio with the children in the big yard where they have been creating masterpieces throughout the day with natural and sustainable products

We have had an amazing time is so far this year! We had more heat, lots of rain and plenty of laughs together.

This month’s Focus of the Month is on our programs, practices and relationships with children.

We are so excited to start the year together. We had a busy holiday period welcoming some new families and also spending our last weeks with some of our children before they started school or started a new journey as they move on.

We are looking forward to our Christmas Concert and party on the 15th December.

As we near the end of 2023, we are planning for the new year. We would love to hear your feedback on how we have gone this year and any suggestions you have.

The weather is trying to warm up which has been welcomed with water and messy play to cool down. Over the hotter weather we ask that you pack a spare set of clothes for the days we have water activities.

We are well on the way in our Hatchlings Early Learning Journey. Thank you to all our families for the support that you have shown over this time.

Hatchlings Early Learning Centre will continue to support and hold a philosophy based upon a sound Christian ethos which underpins our commitment to providing a loving, nurturing and caring environment for all children, their families and the educators.

The centre that you know and love which has been running since September 2009 is changing ownership. We are excited to announce that Hatchlings ELC will be our new owners.

During May our Educators have been providing Intentional Teaching experiences to extend on individual children’s current interests and ideas.

As the cooler months start to creep in on us, we ask that you send a jumper, socks and shoes along with your child.

Our families and staff are looking forward to a break over Easter and it’s a great time to reset the family; spend some quality time together and remember all the things we are thankful for.

Our focus of the month coming into March and April will be building on our partnerships with families and the community.

This year we welcome some new families! We trust that you feel safe and welcome here at our centre and we look forward to getting to know you more as we make our way through the year.

We trust you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New year. We look forward to spending another year with you all and sadly say goodbye to some families as our Kindy children move on to start school.

We are looking forward to the new year. The children will all move into their new rooms the week of the 23rd January.
